Historic Trades & Cooking

It is Spring and our blacksmiths and joyners will be all busy this day! Stop in to learn about smithing and woodworking in the colonial era while our cooks will be using fresh spring greens, eggs, and milk products to prepare period dishes.

Homeschool Day

All homeschoolers and their families are invited to celebrate the return of spring at Pennsbury Manor! Join us for a day filled with living history demonstrations and hands-on activities. Admission is $9.00 per person. One adult per family is complimentary. Children under 3 are free.

Living History Theater: Funeral of Phineas Pemberton

When Phineas Pemberton died in 1702, William Penn lamented that the colony had lost “the ablest as well as one of the best men of the Province.” Talk with family and friends of the deceased, hear the reading of the will, and place rosemary on the grave. Performances run 15 minutes past each hour.
