Talk with the Pennsbury gardeners about the recent harvest, seed saving, and what preparations are taking place to ready the garden for the winter and following spring. Make sure to stop by the Kitchen House where the brewers will be making a Winter Stout.

17th Century Confectioner: The cooks will revel in the extravagant use of sugar and spices to impress William Penn's more important guests. The demonstration will take place in the Visitor Center.

Make a fragrant evergreen wreath to take home.  Our horticulturist will also share tips about how to prune and care for a variety of evergreen trees and shrubs in the home landscape.  Bring Clippers. Pre-registration required.  Two workshops - 10:00 am - 12:00 pm & 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm.

It is Spring and our blacksmiths and joyners will be all busy this day! Stop in to learn about smithing and woodworking in the colonial era while our cooks will be using fresh spring greens, eggs, and milk products to prepare period dishes.

All homeschoolers and their families are invited to celebrate the return of spring at Pennsbury Manor! Join us for a day filled with living history demonstrations and hands-on activities. Admission is $9.00 per person. One adult per family is complimentary. Children under 3 are free.

When Phineas Pemberton died in 1702, William Penn lamented that the colony had lost “the ablest as well as one of the best men of the Province.” Talk with family and friends of the deceased, hear the reading of the will, and place rosemary on the grave. Performances run 15 minutes past each hour.
