Historic Trade Demonstrations

Come and witness some of the trades and crafts practiced at Pennsbury Manor during the 17th century. Our blacksmiths, joyners, and spinners will be eager to talk to you about their work and its importance during Penn’s time. Included with admission to Pennsbury Manor. Tours are offered at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30 pm. 

Living History Theater

See the dramatization of a Burlington court case involving the beating of a female enslaved person. Listen to the conflicting opinions Quakers had in the 17th century. This program is included with admission to Pennsbury Manor. Tours are offered at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30 pm.

Open-Hearth Cooking: The Bake Oven

The cooks will fire the bake oven to demonstrate the weekly baking of bread and more. This program is included with admission to Pennsbury Manor. Tours are offered at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30 pm.

Spring Arts: Animals in Art
