John Smith, a blacksmith at Pennsbury, ran away from his indenture in 1686. Why? Listen to John, Pennsbury’s acting steward, and William Penn’s neighbor to find out and hear what happens as a result. This program is included with admission to Pennsbury Manor. Tours are offered at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30 pm.
