DESCRIPTION:Meet renowned multi-disciplinary artist Nathan Young at Pennsbury Manor. First\, experience his sonic art installation nkwiluntàmën. Then hear Young’s presentation followed by Q&A \nNathan Young is a member of the Delaware Tribe of Indians\, a federally recognized Lenape Tribe. \nIn his exhibition currently on view\, nkwiluntàmën\, Young reimagined Pennsbury Manor as a site for both reflecting on our nation’s past and envisioning new futures that honor Indigenous perspectives. \nFrom 11 am – 1 pm\, go at your own pace to experience the sound installation nkwiluntàmën by Nathan Young. There is a $3 fee to tour the grounds.  \nAt 1 pm\, enjoy “Welcome to Lenapehoking\,” a performative lecture by Nathan Young. \nThere will also be an opportunity to answer audience questions about Young’s experience creating nkwiluntàmën. \n\nAdvance registration for this event is highly recommended\, as space is limited.
